Alive Communications works primarily with established, successful career authors who write in a variety of genres. If you are an author who:

• has at least one book commercially published (not self-published), and/or
• are referred by an Alive Communications client or close contact,

• your brief author biography (including recent speaking engagements, media appearances, and publishing and sales histories of your books);
• the name of the Alive Communications client or contact referring you, if applicable; and
• a synopsis of the work for which you are seeking agency representation (including the target audience, and sales and marketing hooks).

If you meet the guidelines above and we are interested in learning more about your project, we will respond to your query letter, via email, within 6-8 weeks. Note: Queries to Alive Communications should be according to the above guidelines. Due to staffing restrictions and the volume of manuscripts we receive daily, we cannot respond to queries which do not meet the criteria above. We do not return any unsolicited queries that arrive at our offices via mail, even if a self-addressed stamped envelope is included. We are not responsible for any unsolicited materials that arrive at our offices.
